Our global heritage revolves around walking and movement, whether local or worldwide. Grounded brings to life the sensory contentedness that comes with walking in nature. Looking at how now, although as a society we are undoubtedly connected by technology, our roots are still firmly planted in the outdoors. By considering modern mechanisation, cameras, phones, Google maps and combining them with the natural world, Grounded questions whether we truly have to distance ourselves from such a integral part of humanity: nature

DIGGING FOR 'Digging at 32°70′ 57.60″N and -97°36′ 21.60″W' features the work of artists Brigitte Jurack, Chris Powell and Kiran Sattar. Engaging with personal concerns about climate change, sustainability, environmental ethics and the global reach of the COVID-19 pandemic, the artists present work that responds to the terrain of Texas Christian University.
