Line drawing and shadows

In picture 1, we drew continuous line drawings from our sculpture. I’ve always loved this way of drawing because of the flowing lines. Even when mistakes are made they can be developed into something even more interesting. In picture 2 I cut abstract shapes of my sculpture into an A1 piece of paper. This was then held up in front of a lamp and photographed to explore the shadows and patterns that were created on the wall behind.
